1. Brief Introduction:HS-243PTF is a pre-promoted, thixotropic resin with filler, expertly formulated for the fabrication of composite tooling using hand-up or spray-up applications. This resin offers a lower profile control that ensures dimensional stability and exceptional surface quality.
HS-243PTF boasts low viscosity, excellent fiberglass wet-out, and reduced print-out. It provides good heat resistance and superior laminate mechanical properties, enabling quick tooling construction. Noticeable color differences may occur during curing in mold construction.
This resin is designed to replace traditional tooling resins such as isophthalic, vinyl ester, and epoxy resins in tooling applications for RTM, LRTM, Infusion, and Hand lay-up processes.
