Product Name:UV-2301UV-curableUnsaturatedPolyesterResin
1. Brief Introduction:
Meet UV2301, an exceptionally reactive, medium-viscosity isophthalate neopentylene glycol type unsaturated polyester resin.. Stabilized and thickened with magnesium oxide, it can be cured efficiently with ultraviolet light. Its superior glass fiber wettability, rapid curing speed, and outstanding mechanical properties make it ideal for ultraviolet curing trenchless repair (CIPP) applications in both sewer pipelines and oil and gas pipelines.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in SPI test:Hardener AKZO CH-50: 2%;
3. Physical Properties of Casting (for reference only):
Note:The casting is prepared per GB/T8237 standards; Curing conditions: UV LED LS128 light intensity 14mW/cm2
, 5 minutes.
4 . Suggestions for Use:1) The UV2301 resin can be thickened with magnesium oxide paste. The thickening viscosity and rate depend directly on the model and quantity used.Therefore, it is advisable to conduct small batch trials before full-scale use.Small batch trials are recommended to ascertain the optimal thickening agents.2) UV2301 resin is adaptable to curing by *** lamp and UV-LED lamp. Should other light sources be considered, small-batch trials are necessary to verify compatibility.
Ensure small-batch trials to confirm the efficacy of varied curing sources.by *** lamp and UV-LED lamp, if you need to use other light sources for curing, please do small-batch trialsin advance.
5. Storage:
1) Package the product in black IBC tanks or iron drums, as it contains an ultraviolet light initiator. Ensure the packaging is stored in a completely dark environment to maintain its integrity.
2) Transportation must adhere to the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'.
3) Avoid exposing the product to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Keep it sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Store it in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC; its shelf life is 6 months.
Be aware that storage time decreases with rising temperatures.
