Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a high-performance bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin. This versatile material is ideal for manufacturing a wide range of FRP products, including anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. HS-4430 excels in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, offering superior mechanical strength, toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. It stands as one of the premium resins meticulously designed for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2.Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs + 80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve an ample gel time scale, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT by AKZO. For overcoat layers (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), add paraffin to ensure the desired curing degree.
When used as an overcoat layer on pipelines and tanks, paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize paraffin efficiency, resins should have a short gel time of about 30 minutes.
3)To minimize bubbles and achieve an ample gel time scale, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT by AKZO. For overcoat layers, add paraffin to ensure the desired curing degree. The recommended addition isactivity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize paraffin efficiency, resins should have a short gel time of about 30 minutes.
5. Storage:
1) Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC, away from heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transport should align with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. As it contains styrene monomer, it is both hazardous and flammable.
