Product Name:UV-2301 UV-curable Unsaturated Polyester Resin
1. Brief Introduction:
UV2301 is a highly reactive, medium-viscosity isophthalate neopentylene glycol type unsaturated polyester resin. With the addition of magnesium oxide, it achieves stability and thickening properties. This resin can be cured using an ultraviolet lamp, boasts excellent glass fiber wettability, offers rapid curing speeds, and presents superior mechanical characteristics. It is ideally suited for ultraviolet curing trenchless repair (CIPP) applications in sewer pipelines, oil, and gas pipelines.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in SPI test:Hardener AKZO CH-50: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:The casting is prepared according to GB/T8237 standards; Curing conditions include UV LED LS128 light intensity of 14mW/cm2
, duration of 5 minutes.
4 . Suggestions for use:1) UV2301 resin can be thickened using magnesium oxide paste. The thickening viscosity and thickening rate are directly related to the model and quantity of magnesium oxide paste used. Small batch trials are recommended prior to full-scale application.with the model and amount of magnesium oxide paste on the thickening viscosity andthickening rate.So, small batch trials are recommended before use.
2) UV2301 resin can be curedusing *** lamps or UV-LED lamps. If other light sources are to be used for curing, it is advisable to conduct small-batch trials in advance to ensure compatibility.in advance.
5. Storage:
1) The product should be packaged in black IBC tanks or iron drums. Because the resin contains an ultraviolet light initiator, the packaging must be stored in a dark place and remain 100% opaque at all times.
2) Transportation of this product must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'.
3) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. The product should be kept sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC. The shelf life is 6 months, but this duration decreases with increasing temperature.
The storage time decreases with increasing temperature.
