HS-7038 Series High Gloss Polyester Gelcoat

Introducing the curing system by Changzhou Huake Polymers Co., Ltd. for GT testing. The hardener AKZO M-50 is recommended at a 2% concentration for optimal results.

Application Guide

1. Ensure the original mold surface is dry, clean, and oil-free before spraying.


2. Use a dry and pressure-stable air source.


3. Stir the solution well before application.


4. The recommended dosage of ketone peroxide is between 1.0-3.0%.


5. Operate within an ambient temperature range of 15-35°C.

Operation Procedure

Note: Spray with a paint spray can at 20psi air source pressure with a minimum air flow of 0.6 cubic meters per minute.

1. Prepare the surface as per the application guide.


2. Apply a thin layer of easy polishing primer on the mold surface, allowing for evaporation between layers.


3. Once dry, sand with 220-320 mesh sandpaper, followed by 600-1200 mesh water sandpaper for a polished finish.

Storage

1. Avoid exposure to heat sources and store in a dry place below 25°C.


2. Seal the product to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss.


3. Transport according to safety regulations due to the hazardous and flammable nature of the product.
