Product Name:EpoxyVinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin designed for the production of various FRP applications. Ideal for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds, HS-4430 excels in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. This resin offers excellent mechanical strength, toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it a top choice for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system for GT test: Accelerator Co/Naph 0.6%: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%
3. Physical Properties of Casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005 standards. Curing System: Accelerator KC 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: Room Temperature × 24hrs + 80ºC × 24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To reduce bubbles and achieve a broad gel time, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT by AKZO. When used as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks, paraffin must be added to ensure proper curing.
When used as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks, paraffin must be added to ensure proper curing. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). For optimal paraffin effectiveness, short gel time (approx. 30 minutes) is advised.
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). For optimal paraffin effectiveness, short gel time (approx. 30 minutes) is advised.

5. Storage:
1) Store in a dry place below 25ºC, avoiding heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes.
2) Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions may affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' Due to the styrene monomer content, the product is hazardous and flammable.
