Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a high-performance bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, engineered for versatile application in FRP products. Perfect for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and advanced FRP molds, HS-4430 excels in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. With commendable mechanical strength, exceptional toughness, and superior heat and corrosion resistance, HS-4430 stands as one of the premier resins tailored for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing System in GT Test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical Properties of Casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is produced following GB/T8237-2005 standards; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post-curing: RT × 24hrs + 80ºC × 24hrs;
4 . Instructions and Attention:1) To minimize bubbles and ensure a broad gel time scale, use low-activity curing agents such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When applied as an overcoat layer (the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to reach the desired curing level.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). For optimal use of paraffin, the resin should have a gel time of approximately 30 minutes.
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Extended storage beyond recommended conditions may affect the liquid resin properties, including viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. Due to its styrene monomer content, it is classified as hazardous and flammable.
