DP-1102T Series Unsaturated Polyester Resin
Principal Properties & Application:
DP-1102T is an unsaturated polyester resin specifically designed for acrylic bonding layers. It features low viscosity, pre-acceleration, and thixotropic properties, offering excellent processing performance. The resin has a low peak exothermic temperature during curing, good adhesion to acrylic sheets, and low shrinkage. It is suitable for the FRP reinforcement layer in hand lay-up or spray-up molded acrylic sanitary ware.

Note:
1) Casting sample preparation follows GB/T 8237.
Curing system: Curing agent AKZO M-50: 1.0%.
2) Curing process: 60ºC × 3 h + 100ºC × 2 h.
Precautions:
- The DP-1102T series is a thixotropic resin, and during storage, thixotropic agents may settle. Stir thoroughly before use to re-disperse it evenly.
- The DP-1102T series is suitable for the following sanitary ware substrates: pure acrylic sheets and acrylic-ABS composite sheets. It is not suitable for alloy sheets or PMMA-PVC blended sheets. Ensure good adhesion with the substrate before use.
Storage Conditions:
- Before use, the resin should be stored in its original packaging (avoiding open barrels or damaged containers) in a cool place below 25ºC. The shelf life is 3 months.
- Increased temperature and exposure to light will significantly reduce the shelf life. During storage, avoid heat sources, open flames, and sparks.
