Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a high-performance bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, meticulously designed for a wide array of Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) applications. Perfect for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds, HS-4430 is ideal for processes like hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding. This resin boasts outstanding mechanical strength, exceptional toughness, and superior heat and corrosion resistance, making it one of the premier choices for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubble formation and achieve a wide gel time range, use low-activity curing agents like Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When applying as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks, add paraffin to ensure proper curing. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Opt for a short gel time of about 30 minutes to maximize the paraffin's benefits.
When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm(melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, in order to employ the paraffin to the best advantage, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30 minutes).
3)In order to reduce the bubble and achieve a broad gel time scale, curing agent with low activity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm(melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, in order to employ the paraffin to the best advantage, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside of recommended conditions can influence liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should adhere to the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. Containing styrene monomer, this product is hazardous and flammable.
