Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:Our HS-4430 resin is a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, meticulously crafted for diverse FRP applications. It excels in producing anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. HS-4430 adapts seamlessly to hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. This resin stands out with its remarkable mechanical strength, exceptional toughness, outstanding heat resistance, and unparalleled corrosion resistance, making it a top choice for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve an optimal gel time, use a low activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When applied as an overcoat (outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), add paraffin to ensure proper curing.
When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) Recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the paraffin's effectiveness, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
3)In order to reduce the bubble and achieve a broad gel time scale, curing agent with low activity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm(melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, in order to employ the paraffin to the best advantage, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Extended storage outside recommended conditions can affect properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should follow State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. Due to styrene monomer content, it is hazardous and inflammable.
