Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a high-performance bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin specifically designed for the production of various FRP products. Perfect for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds, it excels in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. HS-4430 boasts superior mechanical strength, remarkable toughness, and outstanding heat and corrosion resistance. It stands as one of the
finest resins ever crafted for the demanding marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting conforms to GB/T8237-2005 standards; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT × 24hrs + 80ºC × 24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To minimize bubbles and ensure a wide gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT from AKZO. For overcoat layers (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), it is crucial to add paraffin to achieve the desired curing.
Recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52 ~ 57ºC). To optimize the paraffin utilization, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52 ~ 57ºC). Simultaneously, to maximize paraffin efficiency, the resin should gel within about 30 minutes.
3)To minimize bubbles and achieve a broad gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT from AKZO. When applied as an overcoat layer (such as on pipelines and tanks), it's essential to add paraffin for optimal curing. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52 ~ 57ºC). Additionally, to leverage the paraffin's full potential, the resin should gel in approximately 30 minutes.
5. Storage:
1) Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes, at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Ensure containers are sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Follow State Council regulations for transporting hazardous materials. Due to the styrene monomer content, this resin is both hazardous and flammable.
