Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:Introducing HS-4430, a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, engineered for diverse FRP applications such as anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulations, and FRP molds. HS-4430 excels in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, offering exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, and remarkable resistance to heat and corrosion. It's one of the
finest resins ever crafted for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical Properties of Casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is produced according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs + 80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instructions and Attention:1) To minimize bubble formation and achieve an extended gel time range, use curing agents with low activity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO.
When used as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the desired curing degree.
2) The recommended addition is 300 ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). For optimal usage of paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).

5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Extended storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. As it contains styrene monomer, it is both hazardous and flammable.
