Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin meticulously designed for the production of various FRP products, including anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. Ideal for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, HS-4430 boasts exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, and outstanding heat and corrosion resistance. It stands as one of the
most premium resins ever conceptualized for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical Properties of Casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, utilize curing agents with low activity, such as Butanox LPT by AKZO.
When using as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), add paraffin to ensure the desired curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). For optimal results, ensure the resin has a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
3)To minimize bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, employ curing agents with low activity, such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), add paraffin to ensure the desired curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the benefits of paraffin, ensure the resin has a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' Due to its styrene monomer content, it is hazardous and inflammable.
