Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a premium bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin designed for the production of various FRP applications, including anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. This versatile resin is optimal for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. Renowned for its exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, HS-4430 is among the finest resins ever developed for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing System for GT Test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical Properties of Casting (For Reference Only):
Note:
1) The casting is prepared according to GB/T8237-2005. Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post-curing: RT × 24hrs + 80ºC × 24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve an extensive gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When applying as an overcoat (for example, the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the desired curing degree.
The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Additionally, to maximize the paraffin's efficacy, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, to optimize paraffin's performance, the resin should have a short gel time of about 30 minutes.
3)To minimize bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT by AKZO. For overcoat applications (such as pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to achieve the desired curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Simultaneously, to leverage the paraffin effectively, the resin should exhibit a short gel time (around 30 minutes).300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To fully benefit from paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep tightly sealed to prevent moisture uptake and monomer loss. Extended storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties, including viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the 'State Council Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. Due to the styrene monomer content, the product is hazardous and flammable.
