Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a specialized bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, widely acclaimed for its versatility in producing various types of FRP products. Ideal for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds, HS-4430 is compatible with hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. Its mechanical strength, exceptional toughness, superior heat resistance, and outstanding corrosion resistance make it a top choice for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs + 80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve a wide gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When applied as an overcoat layer, such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks, paraffin must be added to achieve the desired curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Additionally, to maximize the efficiency of the paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, in order to employ the paraffin to the best advantage, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30 minutes).
3)In order to reduce the bubble and achieve a broad gel time scale, curing agent with low activity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, in order to employ the paraffin to the best advantage, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Ensure the container is sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' Due to the presence of styrene monomer, it is classified as hazardous and flammable.
