Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a premium bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, tailored for diverse FRP applications, including anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. Perfectly suited for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, HS-4430 boasts impressive mechanical strength, toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it an ideal choice for marine industry projects.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system used in GT tests: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is performed as per GB/T8237-2005 standards; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs + 80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve a wide gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT by AKZO.
When used as an overcoat layer (e.g., outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), add paraffin to ensure the desired curing degree.
2) Recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Moreover, to optimize the paraffin usage, ensure the resin has a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).

5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Extended storage outside recommended conditions may affect liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' As it contains styrene monomer, it is hazardous and flammable.
