Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:The HS-4430 is a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, meticulously engineered for the production of various FRP products. These include anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. This resin is versatile and can be used in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, offering exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. It stands as one of the premium resins specifically designed for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To reduce bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When applying as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the effectiveness of paraffin, ensure the resin has a short gel time (about 30 minutes).

5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. As it contains styrene monomer, it is hazardous and flammable.
