Product Name:UV-2301 UV-curable Unsaturated Polyester Resin
1. Brief Introduction:
Introducing the UV2301: a cutting-edge, highly reactive, and medium-viscosity isophthalate neopentylene glycol type unsaturated polyester resin.. Stabilized and thickened with magnesium oxide, this resin cures rapidly under ultraviolet light, showcasing exceptional glass fiber wettability, rapid curing time, and outstanding mechanical properties. Ideal for trenchless sewer pipeline repair (CIPP), as well as oil and gas pipeline applications.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in SPI test:Hardener AKZO CH-50: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:The casting is prepared according to GB/T8237; Curing conditions: UV LED LS128 with light intensity of 14mW/cm², curing time: 5 minutes.2
, 5min.
4 . Suggestions for use:1) For optimal performance, UV2301 resin can be thickened using magnesium oxide paste. The viscosity and thickening rate are dependent on the type and quantity of the magnesium oxide paste. Small-batch trials are recommended to determine the best parameters.with the model and amount of magnesium oxide paste on the thickening viscosity andthickening rate.So, small batch trials are recommended before use.
2) UV2301 resin is compatible with *** lamp and UV-LED lamps for curing. For other light sources, conduct small-batch trials to ensure compatibility.by *** lamp and UV-LED lamp, if you need to use other light sources for curing, please do small-batch trialsin advance.
5. Storage:
1) The product must be packaged in a black IBC tank or iron drum to protect the resin's ultraviolet light initiator. Ensure the container remains in a dark, 100% opaque environment.
2) Transportation must comply with the State Council's "Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations."
3) Avoid exposure to heat sources, including direct sunlight and steam pipes. Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Store in a dry place below 25ºC for a maximum shelf life of 6 months.
Note that storage time decreases as temperature increases.
