Product Name:EpoxyVinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a high-performance bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, purpose-built for the production of various FRP applications, including anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. Suitable for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, HS-4430 stands out for its excellent mechanical strength, exceptional toughness, and remarkable heat and corrosion resistance. This makes it one of the premier resins designed for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post-curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and ensure a broad gel time scale, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT by AKZO. When applied as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to achieve the desired curing degree.
The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the benefits of paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).

5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside of recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. As it contains styrene monomer, it is classified as hazardous and flammable.
