Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin crafted for a wide array of FRP productions. Ideal for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds, HS-4430 excels in various applications including hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. It boasts excellent mechanical strength, outstanding toughness, and exceptional heat and corrosion resistance. This resin is among the finest ever engineered for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is produced in accordance with GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve a wide gel time range, use a low activity curing agent like Butanox LPT from AKZO. When applying as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the desired curing level.
When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). In order to maximize the benefits of paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
3)In order to reduce the bubble and achieve a broad gel time scale, curing agent with low activity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, in order to employ the paraffin to the best advantage, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's "Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations". Containing styrene monomer, this product is hazardous and inflammable.
