Product Name:EpoxyVinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a premium bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, specially formulated for producing a variety of FRP products. It excels in applications such as anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. Ideal for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, HS-4430 offers excellent mechanical strength, toughness, and superior resistance to heat and corrosion. It stands as one of the finest resins crafted for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2.Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and extend gel time, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT from AKZO. When applying as an overcoat layer (e.g., outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), adding paraffin is essential to achieve the desired curing level.
The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the paraffin's effectiveness, ensure the resin has a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).

5. Storage:
1) Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC, away from heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Long-term storage outside recommended conditions can affect properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' Due to its styrene monomer content, this product is both hazardous and flammable.
