Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a premium bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, meticulously engineered for a wide array of applications in the FRP industry. It excels in creating anti-corrosive linings, robust FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and precise FRP molds. The HS-4430 resin is ideally suited for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. Boasting exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, it stands out as one of the finest resins ever designed for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve an extensive gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the desired curing degree.
When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), adding paraffin is essential for achieving the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the effectiveness of paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
3)To further minimize bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, utilize a curing agent with low activity such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (like the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition amount is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To leverage paraffin effectively, ensure the resin has a short gel time (about 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside of recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' Containing styrene monomer, the resin is hazardous and flammable.
