Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, meticulously crafted for the production of various FRP applications, including anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. Perfectly tailored for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, HS-4430 boasts excellent mechanical strength, robustness, and exceptional heat and corrosion resistance. Truly, it stands as one of the finest resins ever engineered for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To minimize bubble formation and achieve a versatile gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT from AKZO.
When applied as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the desired curing degree.
2) The recommended addition is 300 ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the paraffin's efficacy, the resin should have a shorter gel time (approximately 30 minutes).

5. Storage:
1) Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes, at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep containers sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Extended storage outside recommended conditions may alter liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's "Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations." Due to styrene monomer content, it is hazardous and flammable.
