Product Description
Product Name: Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:
HS-4430 is a superior bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, engineered specifically for the production of a variety of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) products. This includes anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. HS-4430 is versatile and excels in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. Not only does it offer outstanding mechanical strength and toughness, but it also delivers exceptional heat and corrosion resistance. It stands as one of the premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.

Note:
1) The casting is prepared in accordance with GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4. Instruction and Attention:
1) To minimize bubble formation and achieve an optimal gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as AKZO's Butanox LPT.
When applying as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), it is essential to add paraffin to ensure proper curing.
2) The recommended addition amount is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Additionally, for optimal paraffin utilization, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
3) To reduce bubble formation and achieve a broad gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as AKZO's Butanox LPT. When applied as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure full curing. The recommended addition amount is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Furthermore, to maximize the efficiency of paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (around 30 minutes). 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Additionally, for optimal paraffin utilization, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources, including direct sunlight and steam pipes. Store in a dry, cool place below 25ºC.
2) Ensure the container is sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Extended storage outside the recommended conditions may alter liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's "Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations." Due to its styrene monomer content, it is classified as hazardous and flammable.
