Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a premium bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, specifically engineered for the production of various FRP products. Ideal for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds, HS-4430 is versatile and effective. It is compatible with hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. Not only does it offer excellent mechanical strength and toughness, but it also boasts superior heat and corrosion resistance. This resin stands as one of the best choices for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2.Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve a diverse gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent like Butanox LPT from AKZO. When used as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks, paraffin must be added to ensure proper curing.
When used as overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize paraffin effectiveness, the resin should have a short gel time, approximately 30 minutes.

5. Storage:
1) Store away from heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes and maintain temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must adhere to the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' As it contains styrene monomer, it is both hazardous and inflammable.
