Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a premium bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, engineered for the production of an array of FRP applications. This includes anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. HS-4430 is ideal for various processes such as hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding. Notable for its exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, it stands as one of the finest resins ever tailored for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs + 80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, use low-activity curing agents like Butanox LPT from AKZO. When applying as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), it is crucial to add paraffin to achieve the desired curing degree.
Ensure the proper addition of 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). For optimal results, the resin should exhibit a short gel time, approximately 30 minutes.
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Concurrently, to utilize paraffin effectively, ensure the resin has a swift gel time (around 30 minutes).
3)To minimize bubbles and ensure a wide gel time range, utilize low-activity curing agents such as Butanox LPT from AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (like the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin addition is essential for proper curing.The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Ensure a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes) to optimize paraffin usage.300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Additionally, the resin should have a quick gel time (around 30 minutes) to maximize paraffin efficiency.
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Extended storage outside recommended conditions may affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. Due to the presence of styrene monomer, it is classified as hazardous and inflammable.
