Product Name:EpoxyVinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a specialized bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, crafted for the production of diverse FRP applications. These include anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. HS-4430 excels in hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. With its superior mechanical strength, robust toughness, and exceptional heat and corrosion resistance, HS-4430 stands out as one of the finest resins ever engineered for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve a wide gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), adding paraffin is essential to ensure proper curing.
When used as an overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Additionally, for optimal paraffin effectiveness, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30 minutes).
3)In order to reduce the bubble and achieve a broad gel time scale, curing agent with lowactivity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is300ppm(melting point 52~57ºC). At the same time, in order to employ the paraffin to the best advantage, the resin should have a short gel time (about 30minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposing to heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's "Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations." Due to its styrene monomer content, it is classified as hazardous and flammable.
