Product Name:UV-2301 UV-curable Unsaturated Polyester Resin
1. Brief Introduction:
UV2301 is a highly reactive and medium-viscosity isophthalate neopentylene glycol type unsaturated polyester resin. Enriched with magnesium oxide, this resin stabilizes and thickens effectively, making it ideal for curing with ultraviolet lights. It boasts exceptional glass fiber wettability, rapid curing speeds, and superior mechanical properties. UV2301 is perfect for UV curing trenchless repair (CIPP) of sewer pipelines, as well as oil and gas pipelines.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in SPI test:Hardener AKZO CH-50: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:The casting is made according to GB/T8237; Curing conditions involve using UV LED LS128 with a light intensity of 14mW/cm2
, for a duration of 5 minutes.
4 . Suggestions for use:1) UV2301 resin can be thickened with magnesium oxide paste. The model and quantity of the magnesium oxide paste directly influence the thickening viscosity and thickening rate.Therefore, it is advisable to conduct small-batch trials before full-scale application.thickening rate.So, small batch trials are recommended before use.
2) UV2301 resin is compatible for curing with both *** and UV-LED lamps. If you plan to use an alternative light source, please perform small-batch trials beforehand.by *** lamp and UV-LED lamp, if you need to use other light sources for curing, please do small-batch trialsin advance.
5. Storage:
1) The product should be stored in black IBC tanks or iron drums because it contains ultraviolet light initiator. Ensure the packaging is kept in a dark environment and remains completely opaque.
2) Transport must comply with the State Council's "Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations".
3) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and to avoid monomer loss. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC. The shelf life is 6 months.
Note: Storage time decreases as the temperature increases.
