Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a distinguished bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin specially formulated for diverse FRP applications. Its versatility spans from anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, and electrical insulating materials to FRP molds. Ideal for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes, HS-4430 offers exceptional mechanical strength, toughness, and superior heat and corrosion resistance, making it a top choice for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve an extensive gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as AKZO's Butanox LPT. For overcoat layers (like the outermost pipeline and tank layers), add paraffin to ensure the desired curing level.
When used as an overcoat layer, paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To optimize its use, ensure the resin has a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
3)To minimize bubbles and achieve a broad gel time range, use a curing agent with low activity such as AKZO's Butanox LPT. For overcoat layers like pipelines and tanks, add paraffin to achieve the desired curing level. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To achieve optimal results, ensure the resin has a short gel time (about 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid heat exposure such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside of recommended conditions can affect properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation should comply with the State Council's 'Chemical Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. Contains styrene monomer; hence, it is hazardous and inflammable.
