1. Brief Introduction:
A
vinyl ester resin blended with DCPD, featuring
medium viscosity and
medium reactivity. Supplied in a
promoted, thixotropic version.
It offers
good chemical resistance,
excellent water resistance,
fast wet-out, and
low print-through. Also demonstrates
good blister resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications.
2. Application:
It can be used as skin coat of the composits mold and marine industry.

5. Instruction and attention:
1) To reduce bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (e.g., the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.

2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). To maximize the effectiveness of the paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).

6. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside the recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. As it contains styrene monomer, it is hazardous and inflammable.
7. Shelf Life:
3 months for promoted and 6 months for unpromoted when stored in original sealed containers below 25ºC, away from direct heat, sunlight and rain.
