Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a premium bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin engineered to cater to a variety of Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) applications. This outstanding resin is ideal for anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. It excels in processes such as hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding, offering exceptional mechanical strength, remarkable toughness, and superior heat and corrosion resistance. It stands as one of the finest resins designed specifically for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2. Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing System in GT Test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical Properties of Casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post Curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and Attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve an optimal gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT from AKZO. When applying as an overcoat layer (like on the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), adding paraffin is essential to ensure the desired curing degree.
When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of a pipeline or tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) For optimal results, add paraffin at 300ppm with a melting point of 52~57ºC. Additionally, to maximize the benefits of paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (around 30 minutes).
3)In order to reduce bubbles and achieve a broad gel time scale, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT from AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is activity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm (melting point 52~57ºC). Additionally, to maximize the benefits of paraffin, the resin should have a short gel time (approximately 30 minutes).
5. Storage:
1) Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC.
2) Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside of recommended conditions can affect liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations'. This product contains styrene monomer, making it hazardous and inflammable.
