Product Name:Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resin HS-4430
1. Brief Introduction:HS-4430 is a high-quality bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin, meticulously engineered for various FRP products, including anti-corrosive linings, FRP tanks, electrical insulating materials, and FRP molds. This resin is optimally suited for hand lay-up, pultrusion, and filament winding processes. It boasts excellent mechanical strength, remarkable toughness, superb heat resistance, and superior corrosion resistance. HS-4430 stands as one of the premium resins purpose-built for the marine industry.
premium resins ever designed for the marine industry.
2.Technical Data Sheet for Liquid Resin:
Curing system in GT test: Accelerator 0.6Co/Naph: 2%; Hardener AKZO LPT: 2%;
3. Physical properties of casting (for reference only):
Note:
1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Accelerator KC: 1.0%;
Hardener AKZO LPT: 1.0%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs +80ºC×24hrs;
4 . Instruction and attention:1) To minimize bubbles and achieve an extensive gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When applying as an overcoat layer (like the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the desired curing degree.
When used as an overcoat layer (such as the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree.
2) The recommended paraffin addition is 300ppm (with a melting point of 52~57ºC). To optimize paraffin application, the resin should have a short gel time of approximately 30 minutes.
3)To minimize bubbles and achieve an extensive gel time range, use a low-activity curing agent such as Butanox LPT by AKZO. When applying as an overcoat layer (like the outermost layer of pipelines and tanks), paraffin must be added to ensure the desired curing degree. The recommended addition is activity such as Butanox LPT produced by AKZO. When used as an overcoat layer (such an the outermost layer of pipeline and tank), paraffin must be added to ensure the expected curing degree. The recommended addition is 300ppm (with a melting point of 52~57ºC). To optimize paraffin application, the resin should have a short gel time of approximately 30 minutes.
5. Storage:
1) Store in a dry place below 25ºC, away from heat sources like direct sunlight or steam pipes.
2) Keep the container sealed to prevent moisture absorption and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside recommended conditions can impact liquid resin properties such as viscosity and gel time.
3) Transportation must comply with the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations.' As it contains styrene monomer, it is hazardous and flammable.
