1. Brief Introduction:
HS-123 is an Ortho type unsaturated polyester resin, with moderate reactivity, pre-promoted, thixotropic and containing curing indicator. This resin offers good glass fiber wet-out, excellent fiber wettability, stable curing speed, and superior water resistance. It boasts outstanding comprehensive mechanical strength, making it ideal for producing FRP products like nacelle covers, automobile parts, and cooling towers through hand lay-up/spray processes.
Types Available:
HS-123S(N) : summer type for June to August (above 25ºC);
HS-123M(N) : spring and autumn type for April-May, September-October (15-25ºC);
HS-123W(N) : winter type for November to March (below 15°C);
HS-123W, HS-123M and HS-123S contain wax and are dry;
HS-123WN, HS-123MN and HS-123SN do not contain wax and are non-air-dry.

1) The casting is made according to GB/T8237-2005; Curing System: Hardener AKZO M-50: 1.5%;
2) Post curing: RT×24hrs+60ºC×3hrs+100ºC×2hrs.
4. Remark:
HS-123 (M/S/W) (N) is a thixotropic resin, the thixotropic agent sometimes settles, and it needs to be gently stirred before use.
5. Storage:
1). Avoid exposure to heat sources such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Stored in a dry place at temperatures below 25ºC and the shelf life is 6 months.
2). Keep sealed to prevent moisture pick-up and monomer loss. Prolonged storage outside of recommended conditions can influence liquid resin properties like viscosity and gel time.
3). Transportation should fit the State Council "Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations". Because it contains styrene monomer, it is hazardous and inflammable.
